Refunds & Returns

1. The 7-Day Return Window

If you change your mind about your purchase, you may request a return within strictly 7 days from the date of delivery or the date of collection from our premises. Any return requests made after this 7-day period will unfortunately not be accepted under any circumstances.

2. Condition of Goods

We cannot resell opened or unboxed air conditioning units as new. Therefore, for a return to be authorized, the goods must meet the following strict criteria:

• The original manufacturer boxes must be completely sealed.
• The factory strapping and tape must remain intact and uncut.
• The boxes must be in their original, undamaged condition with no tears, dents, or water damage.

If an item is returned to us and we find that the box has been opened, the seal broken, or the packaging damaged, the return will be rejected. The item will be sent back to you at your own expense.

3. 15% Handling Fee

Processing returns for large HVAC equipment involves significant administration, warehouse labor, and restocking procedures. Because of this, all approved returns are subject to a mandatory 15% handling fee. This fee is calculated based on the total purchase price of the returned hardware and will be automatically deducted from your final refund amount.

4. Courier and Shipping Fees

The client is solely responsible for all costs associated with returning the goods to us. You must arrange and pay for the courier or transport required to safely return the equipment to us.

We highly recommend using a reputable courier service and ensuring the shipment is insured. SR Technicool will not be held liable for any damages or losses that occur while the goods are in transit back to us.

5. Factory Faults & Damages

If your unit arrives damaged or exhibits a factory fault upon installation, this falls under the manufacturer warranty process rather than a standard return. Please note the following:

• Do not attempt to install a unit that arrives visibly damaged. Contact us immediately with photographic evidence.
• If a fault is discovered after installation, the unit cannot simply be returned. A warranty claim must be logged. We will dispatch a technician to assess the unit and facilitate the repair or replacement process as dictated by the manufacturer.

6. How to Initiate a Return

If your items meet all the criteria listed above, within 7 days and still perfectly sealed, please follow these steps to initiate your return:

• Send an email to our support team at sales@srtechnicool.co.za with your order number and the reason for the return.
• Include clear photographs of the sealed boxes showing all sides, confirming the factory strapping is intact.
• Wait for written authorization from our team. We will provide you with the correct return instructions.
• Once the goods are received and inspected, your refund, minus the 15% handling fee, will be processed within 5 to 7 business days.
